When it comes to film and TV, Wales is an international success story. For over 35 years, our country has been home to three dedicated national broadcasters: BBC Cymru Wales, S4C and ITV Cymru Wales. Over the years, they've been joined by a new generation of independent production companies, including Bad Wolf, Vox, Joio, Severn Screen, Little Door Productions, Triongl, and Chwarel.
Attracted by our talented people, diverse landscapes and bespoke production support packages, big names in the business like Lucasfilm and NBCUniversal have also chosen to shoot in Wales.
Here at Creative Wales, we want to build on our tradition as a nation of great storytellers. From homegrown TV dramas, shot in both Welsh and English, to Hollywood blockbusters; we provide support, funding and infrastructure to turn ideas into reality.
Our aim is to build on our success of promoting Wales as a top global destination for film and TV production. We're committed to supporting and developing our production companies, talented crew and supply chain.
