Nobody in the creative industries can afford to stand still. Research and development (R&D) is vital, and opening up space for new thinking is one of our top priorities.

We support wide-ranging initiatives with an impact throughout Wales. These include media.cymru, bringing together partners from academia, technology, local leadership and the creative industries to make new products and services a reality. By providing core funding for the Clwstwr programme, we've helped deliver a pipeline of high-profile R&D projects in the creative industries.

All our R&D funding is delivered on the condition that equality, diversity, inclusion and sustainability are given full consideration.
